HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at nearby Poway High School... as a senior, she averaged a team-leading 23.2 ppg, 8.2 rebounds-per-game and dished out 3.2 assists-per-game...she scored a career-high 40 points in a win against Cathedral Catholic on December 12, 2010...she was an McDonald's All-American nominee, and named the North San Diego County Player of the Year, tabbed the Palomar League Player of the Year, named a Max Preps California All-State Honorable mention and named ESPN/Cal Hi Sports All-State Division I player...as a junior, she was named first-team All-State, All-San Diego County, All Palomar League, and named the Palomar League Player of the Year after averaging 17.9 points-per-game, 6.3 rebounds-per-game and 2.63 assists-per-game...also in her junior year she helped lead her team to a 27-5 overall record and the team was the CIF San Diego section runners-up...she was tabbed the NC Times North County Player of the Year as a junior...as a sophomore, she was an All-State selection and a first-team All-Palomar league selection, while averaging 13.7 ppg, and 4.2 rpg...during her freshman year, she helped the team record a 27-3 overall record en route to the CIF San Diego City Championship, while also averaging 9.4 ppg and 2.7 rpg...she is currently the Poway High School All-Time Leading scorer with 1,982 career points...she etched her name in the CIF record books as well, placing No. 2 in single-season 3-pointers made with 118 as a senior, third in career 3-point percentage at 41.3 and she was also third in 3-point percentage for a single-season at 41.6 in her junior season...she was also a two-time first-team San Diego County All-Academic honoree by the Union Tribune.

PERSONAL: Kaitlin Rose Kuklok was born on August 17, 1993 in Bethesda, MD...she is the daughter of Julie Kuklok and Kierian Kuklok...chose to attend USD because of the outstanding women's basketball program...her mother, Julie, played basketball, softball and field hockey at the University of North Dakota...he father, Kierian, played basketball and baseball at North Dakota.
