  • She is the daughter of Cory Shepard and Karen Shepard
  • She was also recruited by Idaho State, Santa Clara, Portland State, Seattle, Seattle Pacific, and Chicago
  • Chose to attend USD because she would have the opportunity to attend a university with competitive academics and athletics
  • She also fell in love with the campus on an unofficial visit, and then really felt at home with the athletes and coaching staff on her official visit
  • Comes from an athletic family, as her dad, Cory Shepard, played Basketball and Track at the College of Notre Dame, Foothill College, and Whitman College, her uncle, Don Moore, played football at Gavilan College, and Chico State University
