    A USA Women's All-Star Basketball team is leaving for China to participate in two international basketball tournaments, which is highlighted by the University of San Diego's Amy Kame. The team, organized and coached by NetScouts Basketball, will play a round-robin format in three cities for a total of nine games.

  • Toreros Honor 2013-14 Award Winners at Banquet


    As the 2013-14 women's basketball season officially came to a close, the Toreros honored their seniors and team standouts at their annual banquet on Thursday, April 10th. The season was a memorable one, as these Toreros posted the best start for any sport in the Division I era at USD at 15-0, USD received its first ever national ranking, No. 24 on Jan. 7, and USD received votes in the top-25 for eight consecutive weeks. The Toreros also reached the Sweet-16 of the WNIT.

    The University of San Diego women's basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 62-55 loss to the University of Washington Wednesday evening in the quarter final round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament.
