Kim Cupini selected WCC Coach of the Year for 4th straight season
The Toreros posted wins against Central Florida and SMU on sunday.
USD put in a strong showing against Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Texas.
USD split the four races they competed in on the first day of racing.
Junior ('10-'11): Competed with the V4... Guided the V4 boat that won gold at WCCs... Helped lead the V4 to a second place finish at WIRAs... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.62 GPA.
Sophomore ('09-'10): As a coxswain helped lead the Toreros to a WCC championship... guided the second varsity eight that took second-place at WIRAs... helped the varsity eight take first-place in the Row for the Cure.
Freshman ('08-'09): In her first year rowing competed with the novice squad.
High School: Attended Bishop Kelly High School... did not row in high school... earned four varsity letters in track and one in volleyball... was named class valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born May 28th, 1990 in Fremont, Calif.... daughter of Dan Jones... chose USD because she was originally interested in its Marine Biology program... was named to the Dean's list and 2nd honors and was named a Trustee Scholar.
Major: Communications and French.
