USD Women's Rowing Makes Waves Off the Water

Many Torero rowers took part in the OneLoveSanDiego yoga session to raise money for Haiti.

Freshman (2011-12): Primarily rowed with the novice boats... Raced with the 2V4 at the Longhorn Invitational... Also competed in the UVA Invitational, WIRA Championships and Pacific Coast Rowing Championships... Named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.14 GPA.

High School: Attended Classen School of Advanced Studies... Competed with OKC Riversport in club rowing for head coach Andy Derrick.

Personal: Born March 6, 1993 in Oklahoma City, Okla.... Parents are Kent and Julie Taylor... Chose USD because of the beautiful weather, academic opportunities, and great team camaraderie... Was also recruited by Bucknell, Oklahoma City University, Smith College, and Rollins College.
