Toreros compete well at Fall Classic regatta

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's rowing team competed in the annual San Diego Fall Classic regatta. The Toreros competed in numerous small boat events including pairs and fours as well as bringing out two eights to compete. San Diego faced local competition including UC San Diego and San Diego State among other teams.
The women's novice team entered two boats into the Novice 8 event. The A boat finished with the best time of 22:14 while the B boat finished in 23:05. The women's pair had two entries as well. The A boat finished in 23:32 while the B boat crossed in 24:04.
The varsity squad entered three boats in the fours competition. The A boat finished in 20:38 with the best time in the event. The B boat had a 21:13 with the second best time while the C boat had a 22:27.
Rounding out the days events was a women's open pair boat that finished in 23:45 and a collegiate novice four boat that took the best time in 22:46.
San Diego wraps up their fall segment with a trip to the Long Beach Christmas Regatta. The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 6 in Long Beach, California.
