• Toreros Make the Grand Finals in All Five Events


    The University of San Diego women's rowing team turned heads all weekend at the San Diego Crew Classic. The Toreros, who are ranked No. 19 in the latest NCAA rankings, backed up their ranking by having their Varsity Eight finish fourth in the Jessop-Whittier Grand Final ahead of No. 11 UCLA. The Novice Eight won the Grand Final taking home the Laurel V. Korholz Perpetual Trophy.

  • Toreros Kick Off Season at the Crew Classic


    The No. 19 University of San Diego women's rowing team will compete in the 42nd annual San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay this Saturday and Sunday. There will be over 125 universities and clubs competing in the event, totaling more than 4,400 rowers from around the world. The Toreros recently received a NCAA top 20 preseason ranking for the first time in the programs history and will have an opportunity to show their speed against some of the fastest programs in the nation this weekend.

  • Toreros Ranked No. 19 in Preseason Poll


    The USD Women's Rowing team earned a preseason national ranking of No. 19 in the CRCA & U.S. Rowing Coaches Poll. The Toreros finished with a program-best No. 15 national ranking last season after making their first appearance in the NCAA Championships.

  • Toreros Picked to Win WCC


    The USD women's rowing team was picked to win the conference in the preseason WCC coaches poll, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon. The Torero also had a league-high four members on the preseason All-WCC Team; seniors Nneka Anyanwu, MJ Keys, Erica Mayer, and Cristina Morcom.
