• Toreros Eagerly Await NCAA Selection Show


    The USD women's rowing team will learn if they qualify for the National Championships on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. during the NCAA Division One Selection Show. The Toreros took first place in the V4+ and 2V8 to tie No. 20 Gonzaga for first place at last weekend's WCC Championships, but the Bulldogs' earned the conference's automatic bid due to the V8+ tiebreaker, which USD took second in.

    The USD women's rowing team took first place in the V4+ and 2V8 and second in the V8+ at the WCC Championships to tie Gonzaga for first place. However, the 20th-ranked Bulldogs were awarded the conference championship due to the V8+ tiebreaker.

  • Ten Toreros Earn WCC Academic Honors


    Ten members of the USD women's rowing team earned WCC All-Academic honors, the conference office announced Thursday morning. Seniors Erica Mayer and Allyson Ward along with sophomore Meredith Hoggatt were named to the All-Academic team while seven other Toreros earned honorable mention.

  • Toreros Gear Up to Repeat at WCC Championships


    The University of San Diego women's rowing team will compete in the WCC Championships Saturday morning at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. The Toreros, who qualified for the NCAA Championships last year, are seeking their fifth WCC championship in the past six years.
