• Getting to Know: Kim Cupini, Women's Rowing...


    Kim Cupini has been head coach of USD women's rowing program since 2007. She's a former standout Torero rower and a 2003 alumna, earning a BS in environmental studies with a minor in business administration. This past season, her team captured its fourth West Coast Conference title and placed 15th in its first-ever NCAA National Championships appearance. Inside USD asked Cupini, a five-time WCC Coach of the Year, about her program's steady success.

  • Michelle Campbell Earns All-American Honors


    Senior Michelle Campbell was named to the 2014 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-American Second Team. She becomes just the second rower in program history to be named to the All-American team, joining Ali Cox (Second Team, 2001).

  • Michelle Campbell Named SDHOC Star of the Month


    The awards and accolades keep piling up for senior rower Michelle Campbell. A week after being named to the CRCA All West Region First Team, she was honored by the San Diego Hall of Champions as their star of the month for May.

  • USD Rowers earn final national ranking of 15th


    (Indianapolis, IN) - The USD women's rowing program capped off their historic 2014 season with three more strong performances today in their C Final races at the NCAA Rowing Championships. All of the team's hard work throughout the season paid off as they earned a final national ranking of 15th in the country based on their impressive results this weekend. Entered as an automatic qualifier after winning the West Coast Conference Championship, the Toreros proved to everyone that they belong with the nation's best.
