• Toreros Take First in Row For the Cure


    Just one day after competing in the Head of the American Regatta in Gold River, Calif., the USD women's rowing team had a strong showing at the Race for the Cure on Mission Bay, taking home first place in both the V8 and V4.

    The USD women's rowing team had their first competitive action of the season this weekend when they competed at the Head of the American Regatta at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Gold River, Calif. The Torero A squad earned a fifth place finish (out of 24) in the Women's Collegiate 8+ with a time of 17:34.0. USD also earned a sixth place (out of 28) finish in the 4+, finishing in 19:58, ahead of California and Saint Mary's.

  • Toreros Begin Racing Season This Weekend


    The USD women's rowing squad is preparing for their first official racing action of the fall when they travel to Sacramento, Calif. to compete in the Head of the American on Saturday, Oct. 25, followed by the annual Row for the Cure regatta on the Toreros' home waters of Mission Bay on Sunday, Oct. 26.
