Over 1,000 WCC student-athletes garnered honors on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
SOPHOMORE (2014): Played in 10 matches… helped lead USD back into the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011… helped the Torero defense bolster eight shutouts, and a goals-against-average of 1.33.
FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 10 matches off the bench... Helped Toreros earn five shutouts.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Carondelet High School...as a senior she was named second team All- East Bay Athletic League, and named her team's Defensive MVP...as a junior she was an All-EBAL Honorable Mention selection, while helping her team win the league championship...as a sophomore, she helped lead her team to the North Coast Section CIF champions, as well as a EBAL League championship.
CLUB: Played for the Mustang Blast club team...helped her team to a 5th place finish n the ECNL Championship...helped lead her tram to an eighth place finish in the ECNL National Championships...she was a 4-year team captain.
PERSONAL: Ashley Nicole Christensen was born on Aug. 17, 1995 in Calgary, Alberta Canada...she is the daughter of Maureen and Kirk Christensen...chose to attend USD because she wishes to continue her Catholic School education, she loves the beautiful setting of the city of San Diego and because she fell in love with the school and surrounding area after many years of traveling to Surf Cup tournaments...notes she used to swim competitively and loved to play any sport for fun.
