SOPHOMORE (2013):Started all 20 matches and played every single minute of the 2013 season... Posted a 12-8-0 record with five shutouts... Faced a school-record 278 shots, while making 93 saves, one shy of the school record... Allowed 1.39 goals per match and had a .769 save percentage... Was an All-WCC Honorable Mention selection... Recorded shutouts against UC Irvine (8/30/13), at Kansas (9/13/13), at Cal State Northridge (9/22/13), Long Beach State (9/30/13), and at San Francisco (10/12/13)... Had a season-high ten saves at Texas A&M (9/6/13)... Recorded nine saves at BYU (11/1/13)... Had game-winning assist in overtime of Toreros 2-1 win against Missouri... WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention selection
FRESHMAN (2012): Played in six matches with two starts as a goalie for the Toreros...posted a 2-2 overall record, with one shared shutout...played a total of 311:48 in goal...recorded starts against Saint Mary's (10/12/12) and against Santa Clara (10/28/12)...recorded a season-high four saves against Santa Clara (10/28/12)...shared a shutout against Saint Mary's (10/12/12).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played soccer at Great Oak High School...helped lead her team to back-to-back Southwestern League championships as a junior and senior...as a senior, she was named first-team All-CIF Southern Section, first-team All-Southwestern League, first-team All-Valley and was a GOHS Scholar Athlete...as a senior, she also helped lead her team to the CIF Southern Section Semi-Finals...as a junior, she was a first-team All-CIF Southern Section honoree, a first-team All-Valley, first-team All-Southwestern League and a GOHS Scholar Athlete honoree...as a sophomore, she was a first-team All-Southwestern League selection and a GOHS Scholar Athlete...as a freshman, she was a second-team All-Southwestern League selection and a GOHS Scholar Athlete...played club soccer for the San Diego Surf...helped lead the team to the National League championship in 2009, and to the ECNL National Championship in 2011...helped lead he Surf to the 2008 and 2010 Surf Cup championships...she also helped lead the team to the US Youth Soccer National Championship in 2009.
PERSONAL: Michelle Jordan Craft was born on June 24, 1994 in Santa Clara, Calif....she is the daughter of Tom Craft and Luz Craft...was also recruited by Oregon State...chose to attend USD because of the beautiful campus, its close to proximity home, the outstanding soccer program, and she is familiar with several of the players and the coaching staff from her time with the San Diego Surf club team...notes she has a twin sister that plays for nearby Point Loma Nazarene...also notes she was named after Michael Jordan.
