SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The United State national women's soccer team will be playing in its final match before heading over to the Olympics this Wednesday night at USD's Torero Stadium against Brazil.

The match will be televised live on the Fox Soccer Channel and is a sold out event of 7,000 people. The US team features Abby Wambach, who is currently sitting on 99 career international goals, and fans are expecting her to reach the 100 goals scored mark on Wednesday. The team also features recent Stanford University graduate Rachel Buehler, who is currently a USD volunteer Assistant coach and played for the San Diego Surf under USD head women's soccer coach Ada Greenwood.

"We are very fortunate to have two of the best teams in the world playing at Torero stadium," stated Greenwood. "Both teams then head off to the Olympics in China. It is a great honor for our University and will showcase the high quality of facilities here at USD."
