SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Senior midfielder Jacqueline Altschuld of the University of San Diego women's soccer team has been named to the 2016 NSCAA NCAA Division I Women's All-West Region Team, taking home third-team honors. This marks the second time in her career she has been named to the All-West Region team.
Altschuld, a 5-5 senior from Woodland Hills, Calif., finished up a stellar four-year career with six goals, two of them game-winners, while adding five assists for 17 points. Altschuld took home one WCC Player of the Week award in the final week after scoring the game-tying goal, and had an assist on the game-winning goal against Portland, all in the last 11 minutes of play to lift USD to a 3-2 win. Altschuld finished her career with 17 goals, and recorded 18 assists, for a total of 52 points, which places her tied for fourth all-time for career points at USD. Her 18 assists ties her for sixth all-time, and her 17 goals ties her for 10th all-time.
