• Toreros Prep for Season Opener


    The University of San Diego women's soccer team (0-0) will open up the 2014 campaign this weekend by hosting the USD Tournament. On Friday, USD will square off against No. 20 Georgetown University, and then on Sunday they conclude the first week with a 2 p.m. match against USC. The Southern California match will have a live multi-camera high definition video production with Jack Cronin providing play-by-play, and will be aired live on TheW.tv.

  • Toreros Tabbed Fifth in Preseason Coaches Poll


    After capturing a share of the West Coast Conference championship for the second straight year in 2013, BYU was picked as a narrow favorite to win the 2014 title. The top three teams were separated by a total of just four votes in the annual preseason poll of the WCC's 10 coaches. The university of San Diego was picked to finish fifth, while receiving one first place vote.
