Sandusky and Spence earn All-WCC First Team Honors
May 16, 2017

SAN DIEGO - A total of five USD softball players were recognized by the West Coast Conference office today with 2017 All-WCC honors. Senior Olivia Sandusky (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and sophomore Taylor Spence (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) were both selected to the 11-player First Team after earning 2nd team honors in 2016. Senior RHP Megan Sabbatini (Hollister, Calif.) was named to the All-WCC 2nd Team, and junior Kailey Hill (Ramona, Calif.) and freshman Sara Silveyra (Camarillo, Calif.) were named honorable mention.

Sandusky started all 44 games this for the 22-22 Toreros who are playing in their first postseason tournament starting today in Ogden, Utah (NISC Postseason Championships; first round vs. Utah State).
