SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The USD softball team had a conference-high 15 players named to the Pacific Coast Softball Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll on Wednesday. Student-athletes who earn at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2012-13 academic year are eligible for the honor.

USD's honorees include 12 repeat award winners and three newcomers. Freshman second baseman Danielle Mavridis boasted the highest GPA on the team with her 3.93 on the year. Seniors Lauren Tomey, Kimberlee Shimizu and Mickell Escobar wrapped up their USD careers by earning Honor Roll recognition each year.

BYU had the second-most student-athletes recognized on the Commissioner's Honor Roll with 13, while Loyola Marymount was the only other school with double-digit honorees as they had 10 recipients.
