• Toreros Compete at Redlands Pentathlon


    The USD swim team competed in the Redlands Pentathlon Saturday morning. The majority of the Toreros swimmer competed in four events: the 100 Fly, Back, Breast, and Free. This allowed for swimmers to compete in events they wouldn't typically race in. Also competing in the Pentathlon was Concordia, Azusa-Pacific, Chapman, Pomona-Pitzer, and LaVerne.

  • Toreros Topped by LMU


    Highlighting the day was Jackie Taylor, who took first place in both the 100 and 200-yard freestyle with times of 52.70 and 1:54.41 respectively. Keenan Lineback (1000 freestyle; 10:34.90), Christina Jonsson (200 breast; 2:24.27), and Gwen Walter (500 free; 5:11.47) also captured first place finishes for the Toreros.

  • Keenan Lineback: Making Waves


    Senior swimmer Keenan Lineback has won three conference championships, set school records, and was named Female Torero Athlete of the Year in 2013, but she also is one of the top female surfers in Southern California.

  • Gil Levy Added to Swimming Coaching Staff


    USD Swim Coach Mike Keeler is pleased to announce the addition of Gil Levy to his staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Levy brings a wealth of experience to the Torero coaching staff and most recently coached the Great Britain Team in preparation for the Maccabi Games as well as the England Talent Program and the Elite Swim Team in Hillingdon, London.
