What is your most memorable swimming/diving moment? Why?
Swimming for the last time with my teammates at state in the 4x100 free relay. It was senior year, the last of the meet and with my team. We won ended up winning the relay and broke our school record and shortly after it was announced that we won the state meet for the fourth year in a row!
Describe yourself as an athlete and as a student.
I try to work hard as hard as I can both in and out of the pool and try to keep my athletic and academic life balanced.
What piece of coaching and/or personal advice has stuck with you over the years?
My high school coach, Chauntelle Johnson always used to say "little things make big things happen". Focusing on the little things everyday like pushing yourself just a little harder or making a small attitude adjustment can help you reach your goals and make big things happen.
