LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Mackenna Briggs, who set a new school record in the 200 free last night, continued her record breaking week by setting another school in Thursday evening’s first race, the 500 free. In the next race, Bri Jurries earned a third place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.73.
Danielle Taylor swam the 50 free in 23.32 (7th place), a career best time for her and only 0.13 off her sister Jackie’s school record.
The Toreros finished the evening with a fifth place finish in the 200 free relay. Taylor, Missy Beall, Jurries and Briggs finished in 1:33.17 to give USD 28 points.
