Eight Toreros named MPSF All-Academic

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The USD women's swim and dive team had eight members named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic for the 2012-13 season. To be eligible for MPSF all-academic honors, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.0 GPA, be at least a sophomore academically, have completed one full year at the institution where they are nominated and have competed in at least 50 percent of the team's competitions for the year.

Kelly Stone (3rd time), Melissa Andruzzi (3rd), Katie Olsen (3rd), Jacquie Kimmel (3rd), Eleanor Phillips (2nd) and Erica Burmood (2nd) were all previous all-academic honorees, while Taylor Noonan and Keenan Lineback earned the recognition for the first time in their careers.
