Swimming & Diving earn the highest GPA in the department

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's swimming and diving team had a strong year both in the water but also in the classroom. The Toreros finished with a team cumulative 3.648 which puts them in the top five percent in the nation for NCAA Division I swimming and diving. The GPA was also the highest with in the 17 teams in USD athletics.
"The team did an incredible job this semester in the classroom," commented head coach Mike Keeler. "Our team GPA ranks us at the top nationally in comparison with other Division I swimming and diving programs."
Coach Keeler is confident that his recent recruiting will put them in the running for national recognition in 2011 as well as a second consecutive year with the best team GPA at USD.
