Senior '09-'10: Doubles specialist for the Toreros... Partnered with sophomore Marite Raygada and freshman Laura Claus exlusively at the No. 3 slot... Went 17-8 overall in dual doubles, posting her best mark of 12-4 alongside Claus... Received All-WCC Honorable Mention for doubles with Claus... Helped the Toreros to a third place finish at the WCC Championships by pocketing two tandem wins with Claus over the pairings of Sophie Lantta and Jackie Tabb (8-5) from Gonzaga and Andrea Oates and Tania Rice (8-3) from Pepperdine... During the fall, competed in the SDSU Fall Classic I and II, and the 2009 Wilson/ITA DI Southwest Regional Championships.

Junior '08-'09: Exclusively a doubles specialist for the Toreros during the dual campaign... Partnered with freshman Marite Raygada at No. 3 for an 8-8 mark... Competed in the SDSU Fall Classic I and II and the Wilson/ITA Southern California Regional Championships during the fall campaign.

Sophomore '07-'08: Participated primarily as a doubles specialist for the Toreros... Paired with four different teammates, posting her best mark with Tammy Kevey (7-2) at No. 3... During the fall, competed in the SDSU Fall Classic I and II and the ITA/Wilson Southern California Regional Championships.

Freshman '06-'07: Competed in the lower half of the singles ladder for the Toreros, securing a dual singles record of 7-11... Earned her best mark of 6-6 at No. 6... Contributed in doubles play where she partnered with teammates Alexandra Demidova, Monica Wiesener, and Helene Lindstrand... During the fall, competed in the SDSU Fall Classic I and II.

High School/Prep: Attended Torrey Pines High School where she earned four varsity letters... Was a three-time CIF Doubles Champion... Reached the CIF Doubles title match her freshman year... Earned "Heart of the Team" award her senior year... Was named "Most Spirited" her junior year...Received "Coaches Award" her freshman year.

Personal: Perl, nickname "Jay," was born in San Diego, CA on July 28, 1988... Chose USD because of the small school atmosphere and the beautiful campus... Hobbies include singing and dancing... Older sister Lauren played tennis at USD (2003-2006).
