Spring 2008 (Junior): Finished the season with a 3-12 record, including a 2-0 mark at the No. 5 position... Partnered with three different Toreros in doubles competition and went 1-8 on the season, including a 1-0 mark at the No. 2 position with teammate Milou Teeling.

Fall 2007 (Junior): Tamborini did not compete in the fall season for USD.

Spring 2007 (Sophomore): Posted a 7-13 record, including a 3-2 mark at the No. 6 position in singles play... In doubles competition Tamborini went 8-13 during the spring season with four different partners, including a 2-3 record with partner Sasha Fisher at the No. 3 position and 4-6 with partner Helen Schneider at the No. 3 position as well.

Fall 2006 (Sophomore): Tamborini did not compete in the fall season for Pacific.

Spring 2006 (Freshman): Tallied a 9-10 singles record in the dual season, including a 3-1 mark at No. 3 singles for the Tigers... Carla also posted a 6-6 record at No. 4 singles for Coach Chiene, while also seeing time at No. 2 singles... She posted a 14-4 doubles record with partner Natalia Kostenko, which included a 2-1 record at No. 1 doubles and a 12-3 mark at No. 2 doubles. Tamborini earned honorable mention All-Big West in doubles along with her partner Kostenko.

Fall 2005 (Freshman): Carla finished her first fall tournament season with a 3-3 record in singles competition and a combined 5-2 mark with two different partners in doubles action.

High School/Prep: Tamborini graduated from Laurel Springs High School in 2005... By attending Laurel Springs HS, an online high school, Carla was able to play on the Junior World Tour... Before joining the Junior World Tour, Tamborini attended Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena, Calif., where she was the MVP of the league as a freshman... During her time on the Junior World Tour, Tamborini played in both the US Open and the Italian Open... She reached a world ranking of 125 in singles and 84 in doubles... In the classroom, Carla earned honors in both mathematics and foreign language.

Personal: Born in Hollywood, Calif., and is the daughter of Horacio and Christina Tamborini... Her grandfather, Omar Blebel, competed for Argentina in the Olympics as a wrestler and captured gold medals at the Pan-American Games as well as the World Championships.
