BOISE, Idaho - The University of San Diego women's tennis team suffered its second straight 4-3 loss, this time to 48th ranked Boise State University Sunday afternoon at the host site of the Appleton Tennis Center.

The Toreros fall back to the .500 mark at 8-8, while the Broncos continue their strong dual season, grabbing their tenth singles win.

USD again dropped the all-important doubles point, putting itself in the initial hole.

San Diego rallied in singles, but Boise State was able to score enough wins late to hold off the Toreros' charge.

USD did manange to secure wins at Court #2, #3, and #6 before the Broncos closed out the match win. At No. 2, Laura Claus knotted up Lauren Megale, 6-3, 6-2, while one court over at No. 3, Maja Sujica disposed of Bianca Jochimsen with relative ease by final of 6-4, 6-1. Completing the trio of points, Marite Raygada earned her sixth consecutive victory at No. 6 by defeating Marlena Pietzuch, 6-3, 6-1.

San Diego will look to get back to its winning ways when the Toreros return home this week for matches against Marshall and Nevada.
