SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's tennis team wrapped up the weekend with a 7-0 sweep of the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon from the Hogan Tennis Center. The Toreros didn't lose a match and only dropped one set on the day.

Doubles play featured wins from all three Torero pairs. Leading the way were Juliette Coupez and Laura Claus, with their 9-7 win at No. 1. At No. 2, Anna Depenau and Maja Sujica improved to a perfect 12-0 in dual doubles as they posted a flawless 8-0 win. The tandem leads the team with a 16-4 doubles record overall.

Capping off the doubles sweep was Cara Brown and Stephanie Hoffpauir with their 8-5 win at No. 3, making them 5-1 in dual doubles this spring.

Singles action was all Toreros as USD (6-7, 3-0 WCC) won all six matches. Coupez won her 10th dual match of the spring as she tallied a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1, while Hoffpauir won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2.

No. 97 Depenau claimed a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 for her team-best ninth-straight singles victory. Marite Raygada earned a win at No. 4 with a 6-1, 6-7(4), 14-12 victory.

Sujica recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5, while Brown won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 en route to her sixth-consecutive singles victory.

The Toreros travel to Pepperdine on Friday, Apr. 6 for a 1:30 pm first serve.
