SAN DIEGO, Calif.- The University of San Diego women's tennis team is ranked 29th in the most recent Campbell/ITA women's tennis rankings released on Tuesday, March 1st. USD (5-3) dropped two spots after losing to the then-No. 17 University of Southern California Trojans this past Friday, 5-2.

Sophomore Stephanie Hoffpauir came in ranked 96th in singles. Hoffpauir has a 5-2 singles record this season, mostly at No. 1. She lost to No. 1 Maria Sanchez in a competitive three-set match this past Friday by a score of 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.

Hoffpauir and junior Juliette Coupez earned a No. 70 ranking in doubles. The pair is 2-3 in dual matches this season and posted an 8-7(4) victory over then-ranked No. 25 Janette Bejlkova and Loreto Alonso of South Florida on Feb. 13th. It is the first time either player has been ranked in doubles in their career.

USD will face Boston College at home on Tuesday, March 8th at 10:00 a.m.
