SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's tennis team received good news today, as sophomore Marite Raygada was named the West Coast Conference Womens Singles Player of the Month for March. Raygada went a perfect 8-0 in March, her last win coming against Nevada's Sophie Stevens in straight sets. She is the winningest Torero thus far in the 2010 dual match campaign, toting an overall mark of 13-4 exclusively at the No. 6 position.
Raygada and the 62nd-ranked Toreros (10-8) will have a double dose of matches this weekend, as they travel to UC Irvine this Friday, April 9th to square off against the Anteaters, and then make a quick turn around to face WCC foe, St. Mary's, on Saturday, April 10th.
