CAN'T STOP EM': USD's primary No. 2 doubles tandem of Maja Sujica and Anna Depenau are a perfect 16-0 in dual doubles this season and 20-4 on the year. The duo is picking up right where they left off in 2011 when they went a team-best 16-4 overall in doubles play. This past March, they were named WCC Doubles Team of the Month. Sujica and Depenau have set a new team record for dual doubles wins as a pair, surpassing the previous record of 15, which was accomplishesd by a number of pairs, including Sujica (w/ Tammy Kevey) in 2009. The USD single-season record for most wins (overall) by a doubles pair is 24, set in 2000 by Katarina Valkyova and Zuzana Lesenarova. Sujica and Depenau's 36 wins as a pair over the past two seasons rank as the fifth-highest total for career doubles wins by a pair.

RAISING THE BAR: Sr. Maja Sujica has set a new USD career record for most doubles wins. Sujica, with a 75-38 career doubles mark, surpassed Julie McKeon and Laura Richards (both played from 1991-94), who held the previous record with 70 career doubles wins each. Meanwhile, Sr. Juliette Coupez has 67 career doubles wins, which ranks as the third-highest total in USD history.

KEEP EM' COMIN': So. Anna Depenau won a career-high nine singles matches in a row before her streak was ended at Pepperdine on Apr. 6. Her streak started on Feb. 17 with a 6-4, 6-2 win over South Carolina's Katarina Popova. Her previous career-long was seven in a row, which she set last year. During her streak, Depenau was 1-0 at the No. 4 position and 8-0 at No. 3.

SPEAKING OF STREAKS: Jr. Cara Brown has put together a career-long seven-match singles winning streak of her own. Her streak has carried over from the fall when she won a pair of matches in the SDSU Fall Classic II. This spring Brown is 5-0 with all of her dual matches being played at the No. 6 position.
