SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's tennis team's Laura Claus was named to the All-WCC Singles Second Team the conference office announced Wednesday. Freshman Marta Stojanovic was selected as Honorable Mention for singles as well.

Claus, a senior from Wiesbaden, Germany, is currently ranked No. 79 by the ITA and posted a 14-11 overall record and a 10-9 mark in dual matches playing primarily at the No. 1 spot for the Toreros. Claus was a First Team selection in 2011 and was an Honorable Mention selection last season.

Claus, who was also named to the WCC All-Academic Team with a 3.96 GPA, finished her career with a 73-39 (.652) record in singles. Her 73 singles wins are good for eighth all-time.

Stojanovic (Belgrade, Serbia) had an outstanding freshman season finishing tied for the team high in total singles wins (17) and dual match victories (14). Stojanovic spent time playing at the No. 3, 4, and 5 spots for the Toreros, going 6-2 at both of the 4 and 5 spots.
