BACK IN THE TOURNEY: This is the second-consecutive trip to the NCAAs for the Torero women after advancing to the second round last season. This will be USD's 11th trip to the NCAAs overall and first back-to-back trips since the 1998 and 1999 seasons. In their previous 10 NCAA appearances, USD is 5-10. Their best finish is the second round, which they have accomplished five different occasions, inluding last year when the Toreros defeated UNLV in the first round before falling to UCLA in the second.

ACCOLADES ABOUND: Head coach Sherri Stephens won her third-career WCC Coach of the Year award this season. In addition, the Toreros had seven All-WCC selections this year: Sr. Juliette Coupez was a first-teamer in singles and a second-teamer in doubles (w/ Laura Claus); So. Anna Depenau was first-team in singles and doubles (w/ Maja Sujica); Jr. Laura Claus was a honorable mention pick in singles and second-team in doubles (w/ Coupez); Sr. Maja Sujica was a first-team doubles pick (w/ Depenau).

CAN'T STOP EM': USD's primary No. 2 doubles tandem of Maja Sujica and Anna Depenau have set a new USD record with their 19 dual doubles wins as a pair so far this season. With their 23-5 overall record this year, Sujica and Depenau are approaching the USD single-season record for most wins by a doubles pair, which is 24. Sujica and Depenau's 39 wins as a pair over the past two seasons are tied for the second-most career doubles wins by a pair in USD history.

RAISING THE BAR: Sr. Maja Sujica has set a new USD career record for most doubles wins. Sujica, with a 78-39 career doubles mark, surpassed Julie McKeon and Laura Richards (both played from 1991-94), who held the previous record with 70 career doubles wins each. Meanwhile, Sr. Juliette Coupez has 68 career doubles wins, which ranks as the third-highest total in USD history, and 77 career singles victories, which ranks fourth all-time.
