SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's tennis team had four players earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, announced this past week. Departed senior Juliette Coupez (Mechanical Engineering - 3.81 GPA), seniors-to-be Laura Claus (Finance - 3.95) and Cara Brown (Visual Arts - 3.68) and junior-to-be Anna Depenau (Marketing - 3.86) each took home the honor for the second consecutive season.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman thorough senior year).
