SAN DIEGO, Calif. -The University of San Diego women's tennis team will participate in the ITA Regional Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma Thursday through Sunday. The tournament features all the Division I schools in the ITA's Southwest Region and both singles and doubles will begin Thursday morning.
In singles, the Toreros will have five players competing. Marta Stojanovic, Idil Haciraifoglu, and Anna Depenau all received first round byes. Stojanovic will face Arizona's Lacey Smith (the No. 5 seed), Haciraifoglu squares off against Pepperdine's Yuki Chiang, and Depenau will face the winner of UC Irvine's Alison Klein and San Diego State's Kennedy Davis.
