• Two Toreros Earn WCC All-Academic Accolades

    The University of San Diego women's tennis team's Marta Stojanovic was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, while Marisa Marsh received Honorable Mention the league office announced on Thursday. Stojanovic, a junior, claimed the highest GPA in the entire West Coast Conference holding a remarkable 4.00.

  • Toreros Conclude Season at WCC Championships

    The University of San Diego women's tennis team (4-15, 2-7 WCC) ended their season Thursday morning at the Barnes Tennis Center in the quarterfinals of the West Coast Conference Championships. The Toreros dropped a 4-0 decision to the No. 19 Pepperdine Waves (15-6, 8-1 WCC) as the defending champions and top seed competed tough.

    The University of San Diego women's tennis team (4-14, 3-7 WCC) avenged their regular season loss to the Pacific Tigers (8-13, 2-8 WCC) to continue on at the West Coast Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon at the Barnes Tennis Center. The Toreros bounced back after the doubles point and dominated singles play to upend the Tigers. The squad has won their first round at the West Coast Conference tournament for 12 consecutive seasons.

  • Oppinger and Spinosa Receive Postseason Honors

    The University of San Diego women's tennis team (3-14, 2-7 WCC) earned two postseason accolades. The West Coast Conference honored junior Dana Oppinger (Weingarten, Germany) and freshman Drew Spinosa (Claremont, California), the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon. Both Oppinger and Spinosa are in their first year with the Torero program.
