Over 1,000 WCC student-athletes garnered honors on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
USD recorded four season-bests and eight personal-bests on the day.

WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll - 2013 & 2014
Sophomore (2013-14): Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.98 GPA... Set personal records in both the 5k (Fullerton Invite, 19:09) and 6k (Bronco Invite, 23:39)... In the spring, ran a season-best in the 1500m at the Triton Invitational with a time 4:57.81... Ran season-best time of 2.25.10 in the 800m at Pomona (4/12/14).
Freshman (2012-13): Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA... Ran her top 5k time of the fall at the Bronco Invite (19:11)... Clocked a 24:34 (77th place) at the WCC Championships... Also raced in the Fullerton Invitational, UC Riverside Invitational and Triton Classic... Established two personal bests during the spring track season; in the 1500m at the SDSU Aztec Invite (4:56.68) and the 800m at the Occidental Invite (2:23.65).
High School: Attended Marist Catholic High School... Earned one varsity letter in cross country... Her team took third place in State her senior year... Earned three varsity letters in volleyball and track and field and four letters in basketball... Earned second-team All-State honors in basketball her sophomore season... Named All-Midwestern League honorable mention as a freshman and junior in basketball... All-Midwestern League honorable mention in volleyball her junior year... As a sophomore, was second in State in the long jump, fourth in the 400m and third in 4x400m relay.
Personal: Born November 8, 1993 in Eugene, OR.... Parents are Tom and Cris Houser... Chose USD because she was looking for a school that would push her academically while allowing her to stay on the West Coast and run... Got into cross country after tearing her ACL her junior year of high school and was unable to continue playing volleyball... Her first track meet was when she was two years old at historic Hayward.
