SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego Track team began competed at the San Diego City Championships. This was a great meet to see where the team's conditioning is at the beginning of our track season.

Chris Jacobs set the stage for the Toreros by breaking his own 800m school record in 1:57.97. He returned in the 3000m and got 7th place with a time of 9:12.95.

On the women's side Lexi Deol also set a school record in the 400m with a time of 60.16, and also placed 7th. The Toreros look forward to preparing for their next meet at the Point Loma Invitational.
