• Fast and Furious End at Occidental Invitational


    The University of San Diego track team closed up their season Saturday at Occidental College's Jack Kemp Stadium. There were numerous outstanding performances, and no shortage of personal records. From the beginning, to the middle, to the end, it was a solid day of racing. This meet was memorable in more ways than one. Along with everyone's outstanding performances, we were able to cheer on our seniors Cori Van Dyke, Rita Kuckertz, and Kathryn Adamson in their last race representing USD. It was a bittersweet end to a fantastic season. Although the seniors will be greatly missed, they definitely left a profound mark on this team.

  • Toreros Tune Up at Irvine for OXY Final


    Sophomore Andrea Hughes had USD's top finish at the Steve Scott Invite on Saturday. Hughes posted a time of 4:38.92 to place third in the second heat of the 1500m.

  • Andrea Hughes Breaks 3km School Record


    The USD Torero track and field team showed tremendous determination throughout the race day at the UCSD Triton Invitational. The big performance of the night came from sophomore Andrea Hughes, who delivered a second place finish and a school record performance in the 3km with a time of 10:02.48.

  • Toreros Wrap up Track Weekend


    The University of San Diego Women's Track & Field distance squad wrapped up a successful Friday at the Ben Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. It was a complete day of racing that began with heats in the early morning then concluding in racing into the late night.
