• Torero Track Train Steams Through Occidental...


    The Torero season finished this past Saturday night at the Occidental College Track Invite. It was the final performance for some seniors: Gillian Gorelik, Erik Anderson, and Rudy Mendoza. The outcome of the competition brought the Toreros seven personal records, and 10 season bests, and one school record.

  • Toreros Triumph at Triton Invitational


    It was a successful day for the Torero track team at UCSD's Triton Invitational. In rain and shine, the men and women's teams racked up powerful performances and personal bests. According to assistant coach Kirstin Allen, "It was a good day for us. The girls did really well. Same with the guys, even though they ran unattached. All in all, it was an awesome meet."

  • Torero Spotlight: Gillian Gorelik


    Senior track star Gillian Gorelik recently broke three school records in a 20 day span. On March 28 she ran the 1,500m in 4:39.7, and the following week she ran the 5,000m in 17:28.45. On April 17, she completed the trifecta with a time of 35:28.79 in the 10,000m. In the following video, Gorelik and Head Coach Will Gaurino discuss her recent accomplishments.

  • Meb Keflezighi, friend and supporter of USD XC,...


    In September of 2013, US silver medalist Meb Keflezighi trained with the Torero cross-country program. Keflezighi recently became the first American to win the Boston Marathon in over 30 years. The following video was released last fall and shows Keflezighi training with the team.
