Helped the team capture a share of the 2012 WCC Championship, and earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Earned three varsity letters in volleyball while prepping at Memorial High School...as a senior, she recorded 326 kills while helping lead her team to a perfect 14-0 conference record in District 19-5A play, and helped her team reach the Texas Region III semi-finals...as a senior, she was selected to the Greater Houston All-Star team, named second-team All-Greater Houston, named first-team All-District, was an academic All-District honoree and an Academic All-State selection...as a junior, she recorded 273 kills en route to a first-team All-District selection, and was a Academic All-District selection...as a sophomore, she was an Academic All-District honoree and earned an All-District honorable mention...played club volleyball for the Houston Skyline Juniors...helped lead her club team to a silver medal in the 2012 Junior Olympics 18 American Division.

Caroline Elizabeth Ciaccio was born on July 21, 1994 in Houston, Texas...she is the daughter of Alice and Rick Ciaccio...chose to attend USD because of the academic reputation of the university, the beautiful campus and because of the outstanding women's volleyball program...her sister Alexandra currently plays volleyball at William and Mary...her father Rick played basketball at UC Irvine...her grandfather Larry Ciaccio played basketball at Duquesne University...her other grandfather William Prin played basketball at John Hopkins...her uncle Jeff Blomquist and aunt Claire Blomquist played lacrosse at John Hopkins...notes her great aunt Gertrude Patch was a professor at USD and was on the Board of Directors.
