Senior in 2004: First Team All-WCC player... Huge part of San Diego's WCC Championship team of 2004, USD's first league title since 1998... Hurst and the Toreros won 16 consecutive matches to close out the regular season and achieved a school-record ranking of No. 11 by the AVCA (12/6)... Posted a .341 hitting % in WCC play as a senior, third highest among all league players... Also ranked among the league leaders in digs (3.40 p/g) during conference play... Set a career-high with 28 digs at regionally ranked Pepperdine (11/20)... Had 15 or more kills on 5 different occasions, including killing a season-high 18 at nationally ranked St. Mary's (10/15)... Totaled 46 blocks, with a season-high seven at USF (10/16)... Hit at .303 clip on the year, helping USD rank 24th nationally in team hitting % as of 11/21... Had 12 double-doubles (kills-digs)... Ranked 2nd on the team in assists (100)... Served 11 aces during the regular season to move into 7th all-time in USD history in that category... Has also amassed 1,195 digs, third highest all-time at USD.

Junior in 2003: Continues to establish herself as one of the best right side hitters in the West Coast Conference... Honored as an All-WCC Honorable Mention for the second consecutive season... Set career-highs in a number of statistical categories through regular season play- including kills (329) and digs (323)... Both kill and dig totals were second highest among any Torero player... Her 22 aces moved her up to seventh all-time on USD's career aces list.

Sophomore in 2002: Named an All-WCC Honorable Mention selection... Followed up a 39-ace freshman season with 38 in 2002... Ranked second amongst USD players with 100 assists... Posted 61 total blocks, 214 kills and 314 digs in 2002, all those numbers among team-highs... Her 38 aces ranked her third in the WCC in that category.

Freshman in 2001: Enjoyed an excellent freshman season... Earned a starting position and was a key factor in USD's success in 2001... Led the Toreros in service aces with 39 and her 37 aces during the regular season ranked first in the WCC... Played in 101 games over 30 matches... Posted 10 or more digs in 17 matches and ranked second on the team in that category... Killed a season high 12 at Gonzaga (10-13-01)... Blocked a season best eight vs. Brown (9-7-01)... Her 53 blocks on the season was third highest for a Torero in 2001.

Prep/Club: Attended Stockdale High School in Bakersfield, CA... Was a first team all-state selection as a senior... Earned Player of the Year honors in the Southwest Yosemite League after her senior season... Named Best Female Athlete at Stockdale as a senior... Recorded a school record 33 kills in a match... Was named to the all-tournament team in Santa Barbara as a junior and senior... Was a first team all-area selection as a junior and sophomore... Led Stockdale to two straight league championships in 1998 and 1999... Played on the Kern River club team that finished seventh in the Davis Volleyball Festival.

Personal: Born September 3, 1983 in Bakersfield, California... Daughter of Clark and Ellen Hurst... Chose USD for it's great location and volleyball program... Also recruited by UCLA, Pepperdine, Stanford and Oregon... Also lettered in basketball and softball in high school.
