Played in 26 matches with five starts...helped lead the team into the first round of the NCAA Tournament...recorded 131 digs...had a season-high 13 digs in a win against Pepperdine (10/23/14)...recorded 11 digs against San Francisco (10/4/14)...recorded 10 digs in a win against Pacific (11/6/14).


Played in eight matches and 16 total sets primarily in the back row... recorded 18 digs, one assist and one kill...recorded a career-high six digs in a win over Gonzaga (10/17/13)... helped lead USD to the best season in program history, as USD defeated No. 1 USC, then moved up to No. 2 in the national polls, marking highest ranking for any team in USD division I history...she helped lead USD to the WCC championship...helped lead USD into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.


Played in four matches as a libero for the Toreros... helped the team capture a share of the 2012 WCC Championship, and earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament...recorded two digs.


Was a four-year letter winner in volleyball while playing at Academy of the Holy a senior, she took home first-team All-State Parochial honors, first-team All-Bergen County, first-team All-Big North Conference and was her team's MVP after recording 458 assists and racking up 175 a junior, she was a first-team All-State Parochial selection, second-team All-Bergen Country honoree and a first-team All-Big North selection after recording 503 assists and 146 digs...As a sophomore she recorded 421 assists, had 111 digs and was a first-team All-Big North selection as well s a third-team All-Bergen Country a freshman, she recorded 524 assists, had 98 digs en route to a second-team All-Big North selection...played club volleyball for the DIGS...helped lead the DIGS to the junior nationals; 16's in 2009, and again with the 18's in 2011.


Ryan Elizabeth Powell was born on Feb. 5, 1994 in Westwood, NJ...she is the daughter of Clifford and Elizabeth Powell...was also recruited by Rhode Island and Providence...chose to attend USD because she fell in love with the campus six years prior to the 2012 season, and could not imagine herself going anywhere else in the country...her mother Elizabeth Powell played volleyball at USD.
