SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Senior right side Ali Troost of the 18th-ranked University of San Diego women's volleyball team has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Month for November.

2010 WCC Player of the Year helped lead USD to a 4-1 record and helped the Toreros claim the 2010 WCC Championship. Troost led the team's offense with 80 kills (4.44 kps), hit for a .383 clip, while recording 47 digs and eight blocks. Troost recorded three double-doubles this month in wins over Saint Mary's (21 kills, 14 digs), Santa Clara (15 kills, 10 digs), and in a loss to Pepperdine (21 kills 12 digs). She recorded double-digit kills in all but one match, and twice had 21 kills. She was named the WCC Player of the Week once on Nov. 8, as she recorded 21 kills, hit for a .480 clip and picked up 14 digs in the win over Saint Mary's on National TV.

Troost and the Toreros will return to action on Friday evening at 5 p.m. as they open the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Long Beach State.
