Saturday October 30, 2010 your University of San Diego Toreros will be heading up to Crystal Springs for the WCC Championship race.

The Toreros are ready to compete. After a long regular season, the Toreros are at the top of their game. Refined and mentally strong, they are ready to take on the conference.

Coach Will Guarino and Assistant Coach Lena Nilsson have extreme confidence in their teams.

"Santa Clara was just a small showing of what these teams can do," said Coach Nilsson.

On Saturday there will be nothing to hold back and each runner will be giving it their all. The hills will be a challenge for the Toreros. With sights on Gonzaga and Santa Clara the hills will not be to their advantage. However, they have trained for it and are prepared.

Look for the men's team to be led by Erik Anderson and Chris Flaherty with the rest of the pack right on their heels.

For the women's team look for Kristy Koenes and Gillian Gorelik to lead the tight pack of ladies.
